Aon RiskConsole is a web-based Risk Management Information System (RMIS) that uses claims, exposure, policy and other risk-related information to provide risk managers with a comprehensive view of their organisations' risk. This allows them to better understand and manage their risk portfolio, and ultimately manage and reduce their Total Cost of Risk Aon eSolutions Group is looking for a highly motivated and result driven Area Sales Manager for the Benelux Region

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage annual sales quota through prospecting, incoming leads, building relationships with Aon offices, customers, and prospects.
  • Development and maintenance of a sales strategy for RiskConsole per market segment in conjunction with the appropriate senior business management.
  • Attain aggressive sales targets by building strong business relationships at all C-level positions through personal contact, communications, presentations and negotiations to ensure a consistent and effective representation of Aon eSolutions and its "value proposition."
  • Must be able to identify and qualify sales opportunities, apply knowledge of clients’ business and establish a value proposition that results in sales.
  • Responsible for sales strategy on RFIs, RFPs, and quotations, manages the contracting process, works jointly with the sales consultant and facilitates legal support in all business transactions.
  • Demonstrate leadership, team building, proven sales performance, executive relationship skills, ability to develop and implement sales and marketing plans to achieve business growth with existing and new clients within accounts.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Proven track record in selling in the software and application industries.
  • Consultative Selling experience with a sophisticated and complex sale.
  • Background and experience in selling into major accounts.
  • Strong business acumen and negotiations skills.
  • Maturity to interface and deal with senior executives.
  • Proven ability to self-manage against a set of defined goals and objectives.
  • Strong inter-personal, communication and presentations skills.
  • Well presented with a good sense of humour and ability to display confidence.
  • Highly motivated and work well both independently and in a team environment.
  • Candidate should have an excellent understanding of e-commerce industry developments and initiatives.
  • Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Fluent in English and Dutch language.

Skills & Experience - Preferred

  • 2+ years experience in Insurance and/or Risk Management.
  • Experience/knowledge of RMIS products.
  • International business experience.
  • Other European language(s).
