Your job

At our Bank, we are seeking a Business Consultant who is passionate about change and can work closely with Program Managers to achieve our goals. As a team player, you will act as a vital link between CCOC “Credit Chain Oversight Committee” and all bank initiatives, working to identify problems and understand stakeholder needs. Your role will involve coordinating requirements with various stakeholders, monitoring compliance with regulations, and overseeing the implementation of changes. With your excellent communication skills and problem-solving abilities, you will help us navigate complex situations and ensure our success.

As a Business Consultant, your responsibilities will include:

  • Creating insight, overview, and control over end-to-end change
  • Coordinating the treatment of complex (policy) issues or cases at a tactical level
  • Ensuring timely delivery in line with bank-wide priorities
  • Managing stakeholders of the strategic program
  • Identifying opportunities for improvement and expanding the skills of your colleagues
  • Expressing complex matters in a clear story and presenting appealing, well-designed PowerPoint slide decks to senior management

Your working environment

You are part of the Credit Chain Oversight Committee (CCOC). The CCOC is responsible for ensuring proper alignment of the Credit Domain within the bank and driving change in the end-to-end credit chain. In our team, approximately 12 people work together in a hybrid work environment, with frequent communication to solve credit-(chain)-related issues. We help each other to fix things for the greater benefit of the bank. As a member of the CCOC, you coordinate stakeholder requirements, monitor regulatory compliance, and oversee the implementation of changes in all initiatives. 

Your profile

We are seeking a candidate who:

  • Has 5 years of work relevant experience in the world of banking (lending) and/or risk management
  • Has several years of experience with agile working, preferably as an analyst/enabler in a financial organization
  • Has an analytical mindset and can independently analyse, answer, and present organizational issues
  • Understands the importance of good stakeholder management
  • Has experience with strategy, policy, and project management (transformation)
  • Has affinity with relevant bank laws and regulations to act compliantly

Furthermore:

  • The gross monthly salary displayed above (Eur. 5.516 - 7.880 pm) is based on a 36-hour work week, including vacation pay and benefit budget. Grading is determined on the experience you bring
  • The Benefit Budget is 11% of your salary. The Benefit Budget allows you to acquire additional employment benefits. If you make no purchases or reservations in the Benefit Shop in a given month, you are paid one twelfth of your Benefit Budget that month.
  • Five weeks of vacation per year. You have the option to purchase an additional four weeks per year.
  • Personal development Budget of € 1,000 per year, which you can accumulate up to € 3,000.
  • Possibility to work from home (in consultation with your team and depending on your position).
  • An annual public transport pass with free public transportation throughout the Netherlands.
  • An excellent pension scheme.
