What future are you building towards?
EY is currently seeking highly motivated individuals to be part of our Quantitative Advisory Services (QAS) team. You will use analytics and quantitative techniques to help our clients solve Financial Services Risk Management issues, drive business efficiencies, and manage risks in our client’s portfolios. Our team is engaged in high exposure quantitative service projects related to the development and validation of financial models used for managing market and credit risks and advanced analytics.

The QAS team focuses on applying quantitative techniques within the financial risk management of financial institutions. In addition to the traditional quantitative work in the credit and market risk areas, the QAS team focuses on new topics such as Generative AI and integrating ESG into financial risk models. Our services include a broad spectrum of solutions, from developing a financial risk model to supporting clients in major risk management transformations.
The Office
Our office in Amsterdam is located on the Zuidas: a bustling area where many companies are based. In our Cross Towers, as many as 1000 people are welcomed daily. Haven't had breakfast yet? Responsibilities
How can you make a lasting impact in a rapidly changing world?
- Performing detailed data analysis to help clients solve business problems and complex issues in the financial services industry, including model development, documentation, testing, validation, benchmarking, and implementation.
- Supporting the development of mathematical/statistical models used to develop analytical tools or financial instruments.
- Applying quantitative techniques (including AI and ML) to help institutions develop and validate risk modeling methodologies.
- Reaching conclusions, documenting results, and suggesting ideas for efficiencies.
Job Requirements
Where do you start if you want to change the world?
- Between 0 - 3 years of work experience and a Master’s degree in a quantitative study, e.g., Econometrics, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
- Experience working with one or more of the following languages: SAS, R, Python.
- Ability to execute statistical modeling software routines and analytical programming requirements.
- Communication skills for client presentations and project management.

- Bicycle arrangement: Finance the purchase cost of your new bicycle from your gross monthly salary or from your non-statutory holiday entitlement.
- Pension scheme: Build up a pension capital directly after your start at EY. You have the option to build up additional pension capital on a voluntary basis.

Pre-employment Screening
