As Financial Crime Compliance (FCC) Officer – Risk Management & Intelligence you play a critical role by providing strategic advice and challenge on the risk management of financial economic crime (FEC). This position is within the 2nd line of responsibility (LoR) and primary responsibilities include providing contributions to the Group FEC Systematic Integrity Risk Analysis (SIRA), FEC risk intelligence and a constructive and critical challenge on emerging FEC risks and follow-up within the bank. You will do so in a dedicated and dynamic team in a demanding environment with a global scope.

• Proactively identify emerging FEC threats to assess their relevance to the bank;
• Challenge, guide and advise the 1LoR to ensure appropriate identification and follow up of FEC risks.

Top 5 responsibilities

• You actively monitor pivotal sources and manage our network (including public private partnerships) to stay on top of emerging FEC threats. You translate them into potential risks for Rabobank and share these with relevant stakeholders;
• You challenge and advise on prioritization, outcomes and follow-up of FEC investigations performed by 1st LoR applying a risk-based approach;
• You contribute to the FEC SIRA cycle and FCC opinion based on your knowledge of FEC risks;
• You set-up and advise on processes that improve our way of working in the dynamic FEC environment and simplify the risk management of the bank;
• You work on further strengthening and simplifying our FEC risk and control framework in close collaboration with colleagues in other LoRs.

FCC Risk Management & Intelligence is part of the broader Financial Crime Compliance team which consists of approximately 150 colleagues. Our team contributes to defining the control framework and improving the risk management of anti-financial crime, which is one of the banks’ top priorities. You and your talent

• You have a university degree or equivalent level of work/experience;
• You have 5 years plus of working experience in a relevant professional environment, e.g. banking, compliance, risk management or FEC domain;
• You have the ability to analyze and synthesize complex threat intelligence into actionable insights relevant to the financial sector;
• You show understanding of risk management or the ability to learn this on the job;
• You have a keen interest in AI and new technology which can enhance our way of working;
• You show advanced conceptual thinking and problem-solving skills;
• You are fluent in English and as a plus you have decent Dutch language skills;
• You demonstrate strong prioritization skills and consistently deliver results.

NOTE: this is a scale 10 position, scale 11 may be offered in exceptional cases based on knowledge and experience.

This is what we offer you

• Gross monthly salary between €5,381 and €7,687 (scale 10)
• Thirteenth month's salary and 8% holiday allowance
• 10% Employee Benefit Budget
• EUR 1,400 development budget per year
• Hybrid working: balance between home and office work (possible for most roles)
• A pension, for which you can set the maximum amount of your personal contribution
