You will be working as a Risk and Control Partner / First Line Risk Innovation in the international Wholesale and Rural business and can make a difference by supporting, advising and contributing to innovation for our global clients of W&R. The world of banking is changing rapidly and the bank has defined innovation as one of the key priorities to keep meeting clients expectations and to stay ahead of competitors. On the other hand, the regulation pressure is constantly increasing making it a challenge to come with innovations while still meeting all  the regulatory requirements. 

As part of the Innovation Fist Line Risk team within W&R and on a daily basis you will participate in innovation projects where you will be coordinating and translating CLR (Compliance, Legal and Risk) requirements into project deliverables and support the projects in meeting these requirements. An important challenge is to ensure a shared understanding between the teams and relevant stakeholders in the bank. This is the basis for informed and efficient decision making, leading to maximized experiment learning and identifying and controlling of risks.

You will be the  linking pin between the 2nd line CLR organisation and the Innovation departments and responsible for supporting the business with risk management activities.

You have a proven record of implementation of global changes, systems and/or frameworks in an international context with different stakeholders. 

What you will need is:

• a master degree in Technology/(Business) Economics or Legal background
• a minimum of 5 years related experience in financial services industries
• working experience in a Risk or Compliance team or working within a business unit in a role with Risk or Compliance responsibilities.
• experience within the Wholesale and Rural organisation;
• experience in managing, evaluating and reviewing risks;
• good written and verbal communication skills (English);
• knowledge of the Rabobank RCF Framework and the Archer system is an advantage.
