As an Expert in FEC Risk Reporting, your objectives include the delivery and enhancement of FEC strategic reports as well as build and improve Risk Reporting in a dynamic context. You coordinate with senior stakeholders regarding, among others, operational performance, risk management, SIRA, RAS, and data management. This collaboration is crucial to ensure the consistency, quality, and effectiveness of reports.

As a result of these activities the management of the CFECO domain is advised, supported and challenged to become and stay demonstrably in control of their operational risks. You are together with the team responsible for the continuous improvement of the quality and consistency of the Risk Reporting lines.  You will provide the senior management with overall insights in risk developments, control effectiveness, finding progress, incidents and providing expertise.

Practical examples

• Building, executing, validating and safeguarding high-quality risk reports for the Global CFECO domain;
• Ensuring consistent reporting throughout the domain and taking care of the overall reporting, which meets the needs of senior management;
• In consultation with the team and our key stakeholders you will manage the quarterly Non-Financial Risk Report (NFR), the FEC Risk Report (FRR), and the monthly FEC Operational Performance Report for the complete FEC Domain;
• Support process, requirements and implementation of relevant changes in the reporting process to the FEC departments globally;
• Strategic Programs: Managing FEC wide strategic (regulatory) programs and projects.

Top responsibilities

• Strategic reporting: Produce FEC risk reporting, including regulatory data requests, MI enhancement, maintain strategic narrative, and drive FEC risk reporting change initiatives.
• Engage with Stakeholders: In your role as initiator, coordinator, and driver, you work closely with nearly all departments within FEC and align with key stakeholders on topics such as operational performance, risk management, SIRA, RAS and data management. This collaboration is crucial to ensure the consistency, quality, and effectiveness of reports.
• Providing senior management with sharp and relevant insights, which will help them to optimally manage the FEC domain.
• Continuous improvement of the quality and consistency of the Risk Reporting lines of the CFECO domain, including W&R and Subsidiaries based on new insights, trends, and opportunities against plan.

The FEC Chief of Staff (CoS) reports into the CFECO and is responsible for:

• Strategic Reporting:Driving, advising on, monitoring and challenging operational performance and performance against strategic planning of the CFECO domain, including management of the transition from the FEC Remediation program to BaU and ensuring strategic and tactical reporting on the operational performance, performance against strategic planning and performance against the transition targetsSetting strategic direction and ensuring alignment of organizational goals and targets within the FEC organization
• MI Oversight: Setting strategic direction for and maintaining oversight on MI/BI development
• Strategic Programs: Managing FEC wide strategic (regulatory) programs and projects
• Business Management: providing advice and business management to the CFECO

You and your talent

• Bachelor’s degree with 3 to 5 years’ experience in a similar role within banking and technology.
• Relevant experience in business analysis and data management, preferably in the field of risk reporting and/or project management (within the FEC organization).
• Experience with senior stakeholder management, working in a multi-stakeholder environment, high organizational sensitivity and progressing actions with different stakeholders outside your team.
• Experience in writing senior management reports, demonstrated storytelling skills and challenging the FEC strategic narrative with senior stakeholders.
• Strong analytical skills:  ability to learn quickly to understand complex topics  and communication skills in English.
• Ability to develop understanding of key issues and challenges in the FEC department
• Project management skills
• Proactive, hands-on mentality, critical thinking skills and you are collaborative and results-driven
• Excellent command of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint and  experience with Azure DevOps and Power BI is a plus.​
